ABOUT
Dion Bayman is an Australian musician, songwriter, producer and performer. He has released
five studio albums with all receiving wide acclaim from fans and critics alike. Dion’s latest
album ‘Alive’ is out now.
Dion is also an experienced live solo act performing popular covers from the 80s till now. His
entertaining shows and extensive touring over the years has garnered a large and loyal
following.
After spending several years working on demo tracks and fine-tuning his songwriting and
producing skills, Dion’s debut studio album ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ was released in 2013. This
release was followed up with the albums ‘Afterburn’ (2014) and ‘Don’t Look Down’ (2016).
In 2018 Dion signed with record label Art of Melody Music for the release of his fourth studio
album ‘Better Days’, and in 2021 Dion released his most recent studio album ‘Alive’.
All of Dion’s releases have received rave reviews and have been consistently featured in
many end of year top ten album lists.
Dion has also achieved international chart success, with his ‘Better Days’ album entering the
Top 60 iTunes chart in Spain. All of Dion’s previous albums also featured in the Top 100.
In 2019 Dion was invited to perform an hour long set at the “Melodic Rock Night 3” concert in
Italy. Dion thoroughly entertained the crowd and the show was a huge success.
Dion writes, records, produces, performs, mixes and masters his own music. Everything you hear is Dion Bayman.
It all started from the age of six when Dion began classical piano lessons, undertaking grade examinations with the Australian
Music Examinations Board. Dion continued these lessons for the next eleven years becoming an accomplished pianist.
At nineteen, Dion joined his first band and was quickly becoming known as a singer and performer. Over a twenty year period Dion
has fronted several popular local rock bands and continues to perform today as a solo artist.
Along with headlining shows with his various bands, Dion has supported or shared the stage with big name acts including Ian
Moss, 1927, The Choirboys, The Cockroaches and popular Italian artist Alessandro Del Vecchio.
Dion’s musical tastes are wide ranging. However, his song writing influences include acts such as Richard Marx, Keith Urban, Bon
Jovi and Bryan Adams to name just a few.
If you like songs that are infectious and hook-ridden, containing multi-layered harmonies and anthemic choruses combined with
lyrics from the heart, then Dion’s music will definitely not disappoint.
